Tractors
Any make, any age, any size - compact utility tractors right up to row-crop machines. Terry leans toward Kubota and John Deere but he will look at anything with a badge on it. If the tractor comes with a loader, a cab, or a shed full of attachments, do not split the lot up on our account - we would rather take the whole arrangement in one go.
Farm Equipment
Balers, mowers, discs, harrows, planters, drills, wagons, and hay equipment of every description. A lot of this ends up parked at the treeline and quietly forgotten, and a lot of it still has real value in it. Incomplete is fine. Missing a part is fine. If you are not certain what a piece even is anymore, send a photo and we will tell you.
ATVs, UTVs and Mowers
Four-wheelers, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, riding mowers, and zero-turns. These tend to come in batches - three mowers behind the shed, two of them dead - and a batch is easier for us to price than a single machine. Whole, parted out, or somewhere in between.
Land and Old Homes
We buy property as it sits, with or without timber standing on it, and old houses that need more work than anyone wants to put in. What we do not do is buy standing timber on its own - if the trees are the whole deal, that is a job for a timber buyer. For anything involving land, the phone is better than the form.
3-Point Hitch Equipment
Bush hogs, box blades, tillers, scrape blades, post hole diggers, carry-alls, and whatever else is bolted to the back of the tractor. This is the equipment most often left behind when a tractor gets sold on its own, and it is worth more than people expect - even bent, rusted, or with a gearbox that has seen better days. If you have a fencerow full of implements you have not hooked up in a decade, that is exactly the kind of call we like.
Estate Closeouts
When a farm changes hands or an estate has to be settled, we will take the barn, the shop, the outbuildings, and everything mechanical in them. What we do not handle is the inside of the house - furniture, appliances, clothing, dishes - and we do not buy guns or coin collections. Antiques depend entirely on what they are, so ask. If you need an estate sale company for the house contents, tell us and we will point you toward someone.
Condition Does Not Scare Us
Do not clean it up. Do not try to get it running. Do not apologise for it.
We buy equipment that has not turned over in fifteen years, boats with bad transoms, campers with soft floors, and tractors worth more in parts than in the field. We would rather look at it as it sits than have you spend money getting it ready.
If it is junk, we will tell you it is junk - honestly, and free of charge.
Questions We Get Asked
Can you tell me what it is worth over the phone?
Terry can usually give you a ballpark from a description or a few photos. A firm offer means seeing it in person - that is the only way to put a real number on it.
How do you pay?
Cash or check, whichever you would rather have. No limit either way.
Do you take things on consignment?
No. We buy outright, so you are paid regardless of what it eventually sells for.
Do you haul it away?
Most of the time, yes. It depends on the distance, the item, and what we have going that week. We will work it out with you before anything is final.
Do you buy sight-unseen?
No. He wants eyes on it before money changes hands.
What does it cost to have you come look?
Nothing, and there is no obligation to sell.
